Jazz

Patrick directed the Senior Big Band at High Wycombe Music Centre (HWMC) for 15 years (2004 - 2019), during which time the band produced four CDs. The group was also invited to perform at the Music for Youth Schools Prom at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2019.

Orchestral

Wycombe Youth Chamber Orchestra workshops (2007 - 2014)

Patrick was the founder and conductor of the Wycombe/ Marlow Youth Chamber Orchestra workshops (WYCO /MYCO), a series of two day courses in which top young musicians in the local area came together to learn challenging classical works from scratch to public performance in less than 10 hours and take the music into local primary schools.

Choral

National success: under his direction, the HWMC Stage Voices choir reached the national finals of Music for Youth in 2012, following BB1’s appearance in 2011: one of the rare instances of the same director reaching the finals with different instrumental/ choral groups.

Patrick is also a very experienced rehearsal deputy, notably for Gillian Dibden MBE at Taplow Youth Choir and Marlow Community Choir.
